In April I agreed to run a Minecraft server for my friends. Something we could collectively play and work in without the regular pressures of “LAN” gaming. However, as interest in the game dropped many of us, including myself, stopped playing. Now only a handful of the original actually play and since servers cost money I wanted to devise a far way to charge those who use the server still without anyone getting upset. This project started as a means to do that but grew into something much more as it now includes tracking all details of the server via the collector.
